CONCORD -- A 19-year-old man was dram in the calf outside a large party at the Concord Elks File accommodations on Saturday night, police said.

The victim, an Antioch tenant, was not the intended target of the shooting, said Concord police Lt. Darrell Graham. The coppers found shell casings from two handguns, a .40-caliber pistol and a .22-caliber gun, at the scene.

Police received a call that shots had been fired around 11:30 p.m. Saturday contiguous the lodge in the 3500 block of Clayton Road, Graham said.

When officers arrived, between 100-200 people were in the terrace outside the party, which was still going on, he said. Partygoers inside did not be acquainted with there had been a shooting until police arrived, possibly because the music was so loud, Graham said.

The gendarmes shut down the party but made no arrests, Graham said. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, he said.
